Are you Ready for Football?

We are excited to introduce to you the 1^st ever Jackson Heights Preschool VIP Football Night!  It will be on Friday, October 4^th, when the Jackson Heights Cobras take on the Troy Trojans at 7:00pm.  If you want come early to enjoy the Cobra Backers Tailgating meal starting at 5:30, which is $5 per person.    The cost for the game is $4 for adults and $3 for children.  Children 5 and under are FREE! :0)

We will meet at 6:45 in our designated VIP bleacher section with our class shirts on.  We will take part in the tunnel for the football players.  After 1^st quarter, we will do a chant w/ the cheerleaders on the track.  This will be a great Friday Family Night! 

In the 3 weeks leading up to this big night our theme is Football/Cheerleading.  We have lots of fun activities planned.  We will enjoy listening to stories read to us by football players & cheerleaders.  We will  get to have a photo shoot with them.  We will also tour the weight room.

Meet the Cast & Crew of JH Preschool Bulletin Board

1st Day of Preschool

We survived our 1st day of preschool! Way to go class & parents! I hope your kiddos had as much fun as I did! We were busy introducing ourselves, dancing, playing, making our necklaces and awards, reading, taking a tour of our school, and the morning class got to attend a red carpet event in the gym. Parents, please make sure to check out their folders there is lots of information in them. Thanks for sharing your child with me. We had no tears, not even from me! What a great 1st day!

Open House

WOW! What a great Open House! I got to see & meet all 23 of my students! Thanks parents & grandparents for bringing them out! 

Welcome!

Welcome to the 2013-2014 school year!  I want to extent to you and your child my warmest welcome to my classroom.  I consider it an honor to serve as your child's teacher.  I anticipate this school year to be very exciting, as well as productive.  Because of this, I have high expectations of your child.  I believe every child can learn and be successful.  I also believe your child has a great deal to offer to our classroom, and can have fun along the path of learning. 
On Wednesday, August 14th we have an Open House from 6:00-7:00pm.  Open House is a great opportunity to meet your child's teacher and drop off school supplies.  Our 1st day of school is Thursday, August 15!  This year our school theme is "Hollywood".  The first day of school you may dress flashy like a Hollywood star if you want.  Let's make this an award winning year!!!
